Now that your website is up, running, and filled with lots of GOOD content – and you have a decent fan base as a result of your ongoing “Like” campaign, it’s time to start driving traffic to it via your Facebook page..
Continue posting new content to your website on a regular basis and continue sharing it on your Facebook page. If your content is good, you will see immediate traffic to your website and your social Facebook page will begin growing organically as well. Focusing on content that YOU find helpful will ensure that others who enjoy your hobby find it helpful as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that Facebook is a very visual medium so you want your posts on Facebook to include high-quality photos (preferably the featured images from the actual posts on your website).
SPEAKING OF IMAGES:
Make sure the images that you use on your website and on your social media properties are high quality and sized right. Be sure to check with your theme author to ensure you are sizing your images correctly. This should ensure that stuff like front page sliders and other widgets display properly. I suggest purchasing your images from 123rf.com (since this is the site I use) and making sure the images you use are the $2 images so you can crop them down if necessary. Enlarging images ruins the resolution and they look awful.
