Not sure how to identify easy-to-rank products for your Amazon site? Well, I have a solution for that. If you've read either of these tutorials, you'll know I prefer targeting low-competition products on my own Amazon review sites. The lists below were compiled by me and are hand-selected based on things like the number of PR0/PRNA sites on the first page of Google, the overall number of search results for the terms, the newness of the products, etc.

PPC Calculator for Affiliates
If you don't have a firm grasp on the costs involved, you can quickly lose your shirt when trying to promote affiliate sites via PPC programs such as AdWords and AdCenter. This is my personal calculator that I created and use when setting up and managing my own AdWords campaigns for my Amazon affiliate sites.
This is an Excel 2007 spreadsheet that comes with full instructions even though it is pretty easy to use to begin with. Without it, you may find yourself quickly losing money when trying to promote your affiliate site. Since it only costs $9, you really cannot afford to be without it.
