You may have seen some of my posts on Warrior Forum regarding my own stable of product review sites that are monetized via the Amazon Associates program. I am currently earning a significant monthly income with just a handful of product review sites in a few different niches. What’s different about my sites is that none of them target any high-traffic keywords.
My sites are all product-based (similar to what you’ find on an e-commerce site). I pay no attention to keyword tools, backlinking, blog networks, etc and I still do very well because I target products I know that I can rank for and that very few others are targeting. This results in very targeted traffic which, in turn, results in conversions.
How do I do it? Well, it’s actually very simple. I follow 5 key strategies:
- Brandable Authority-Type Domain / Site
- Careful Niche/Product Selection
- Target Low-Competition Products
- Concise But Useful Content
- Judicious Use of Affiliate Links
